The primary task of the Sunday School is to teach the Bible, to apply it to our daily lives and to share it with others. At the Nursery level the focus is on ‘Feeding’ the children with the Word through Bible stories. At the Primary level we want to ground the students with the Basic ‘Foundational’ truth of the Bible. At the Secondary level we focus on ‘Follow-through’; making sure that the youth are not only grounded in the basic doctrines but also applying the truth of God’s Word in their daily lives.
Classes are held every Sunday except for the first Sunday of the month whereby the children would join their parents at the main Sanctuary for a combined worship service. There are 3 levels of Sunday school classes:
Nursery
This level is for children between 4 and 6 years old and consists of 3 classes (grouped by ages). After a time of combined worship from 11-11.45 am, the children will go to their respective classes where they are told bible stories and do drawing, coloring, art and crafts until about 12.30 pm. Parties would also be organised during Sunday school classes to celebrate special occasions such as Easter and Christmas. This level is for children between 4 and 6 years old and consists of 3 classes (grouped by ages). After a time of combined worship from 11-11.45 am, the children will go to their respective classes where they are told bible stories and do drawing, coloring, art and crafts until about 12.30 pm.
Primary
This level consists of 5 classes (grouped by ages). There is a combined worship for the students and teachers from 11-11.30 am. After which the students are taught the word of God from 11.30am to 12.30 pm. Secondary
This level consists of 3 classes (grouped by ages). The curriculum is lectionary based beginning with Genesis and working through the rest of the Bible from front to back cover. We are currently studying the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. The students are given their bible study assignment (using the Life of Jesus booklet by the Navigators) one week earlier and are expected to do it before coming to class. The teacher will conduct the bible studies with the students from 10.30 to 11.30 am. | View Photos |

Hakka believes that cell groups are group of 4 to 12 people who forms the basic unit of Christian community. They function to provide a place where members gather weekly or fortnightly around the presence of Christ, supports one another as a spiritual family, reach out to the lost world, and mentor and release new leaders, all of which results in the multiplication of groups as others are added. Currently, there are a total of 9 adult CGs, meeting either weekly or fortnightly and meets in Farrer Road, Woodlands, Serangoon, Braddle, Thomson etc. The cell groups are currently co-ordinated by Tan Boon Chok whose main role is to support the various CGs and serves as a channel of communications between the leadership teams and the CGs. | View Photos |
